| You're going to try and argue how NOT wearing a seatbelt isn't stupid just because I choose to do it? Listen to yourself. You're missing the whole point. Don't try to turn this into "you don't do something I do, and therefore you're stupid." Any rational human being could look at the facts and rationally decide that wearing a seatbelt is in his own best interest. All argument aside, wearing a seatbelt is PROVEN to reduce fatalities and injuries. You can talk until you're blue in the face, but that's a fact. I feel that it is stupid for someone to consciously decide not to wear one, and that's my right to retain that opinion. For you to try and justify to yourself an irrational decision somehow because I feel this way is innately ridiculous. That said, I never made any commentary on whether or not I agreed with enforcing seat belt laws. If you ignorantly choose to not wear one, I won't lose sleep over it either. Perhaps you haven't had an accident in your family where one or more family members were saved because they were wearing a seatbelt. It would be a shame for a tragedy to have to occur for you to change your beliefs. Either way, we're talking in circles here and I'm not sure anything is getting accomplished.
